Birdshot, which gets its name from spots that develop on the retina in the same pattern as when lead shot is fired from a shotgun; is a rare and potentially blinding disease, for which there is currently no cure.
We raise money for ongoing research, for the creation of the National Birdshot Database and a Bio-bank resource projects, helping to give hope to those who are loosing their sight.

Meningitis is the inflammation of the membranes that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord and can be caused by different organisms, including bacteria and viruses. Meningitis affects people of all ages.
Ben Williams – Managing Director of John F Hunt Remediation – “As some of you may know, my 8 year son, Harry, died suddenly after contracting meningitis. Prior to this I knew very little about the illness. I was a parent who thought that meningitis immunisations protected against all strains and that ‘it could never happen to one of mine.’ Needless to say I’ve become a bit of an unwilling expert in meningitis and feel that a little bit of fundraising effort from me could help prevent someone else going through the same experience.”
