Due to continual growth, John F Hunt Concrete Cutting is looking for a Trainee Plant/Brokk Fitter to join their evolving team.

Duties:

You will be learning how to service, maintain and fix the Concrete Cutting Plant and Equipment.

Role:

  • Support with general yard duties

  • Carry out scheduled service inspections, service and repair a range of plant equipment in under the supervision of the senior fitter.  

  • Following safety and housekeeping standards in both the workshop.

  • Maintain knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.

  • Undertake regular maintenance procedures to ensure the plant is serviced in line with protocols.

  • Ensuring all issues that are solved, remain operational with minimum interruption to service.

  • Loading and unloading of equipment.

  • Maintaining a tidy workplace, including the yard, workshop, and office.

  • Assisting and learning from the fitters.

Requirements:

  • A “can-do” and enthusiastic attitude and eagerness to learn is essential.

  • Happy to work outside in the elements and work with heavy equipment. (Full Personal Protection Equipment will be provide)

  • Able to work as part of a team.

  • Full driving licence.

  • Right to work in the UK.
