As our business continues to grow with ever more complex demolition, basement and reinforced concrete frame projects, Maurizio Desiderati joins John F Hunt Limited as Head of Engineering, reporting directly to Davinder Singh Reehal. He brings with him an abundance of experience in both permanent and temporary works across the demolition and civil engineering sectors.
Maurizio is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers, a member of the IStructE Applications & Professional Review Panel, an IStructE Review Interviewer, a Supervising Civil Engineer (SCE) and a mentor for the Institution of Civil Engineer (ICE).
In his new role, he will coordinate the supply of all temporary and permanent works designs from concept to construction, overseeing the successful and timely delivery of works. He will ensure technical accuracy and compliance in accordance with the specification, standards and codes of practice.
Management of the design team will extend to the integration of external design consultants when required and engagement with the Compliance Team on HSQE matters will take place on a regular basis, guaranteeing safe systems of works are upheld. Maurizio, will also identify and control risk, ensuring the best possible resolution is achieved on every project without fail.
