Battersea Power Station Redevelopment

15th December 2014

John F Hunt Power recently provided a comprehensive power package to a national demolition company who are working on the Battersea Power Station redevelopment.

Battersea Power Station redevelopment, a Grade II listed building, situated on the South Bank of the River Thames in London was built in the 1930s but has been empty since the early 1980s when it ceased generating electricity.

Work has begun to turn this iconic building into a luxury residential and leisure development, encompassing a hotel, shops and offices. John F Hunt Power delivered a total of 11 generators to the site: five 100kva, four 45kva and two 20kva units, together with three 2000 litre fuel tanks and several distribution boards, all transported via one of our Hiab trucks for ease of unloading.

The contractor trusts in John F Hunt’s excellent reputation and service, knowing there will be no interruption to their supply, provided by probably the most up to date generator fleet in the UK and supported by our technical team whenever required, 24/7.

John F Hunt Power is proud to work alongside their customer on this historic landmark to support the extensive works on this prestigious site. Matt Walker – Halesowen For more information on John F Hunt Power contact us on 01375 366766.
