Training



    Through our appraisal and ‘Asbestos Training Needs
    Analysis’ process,  our  employees undergo  primary
    and refresher asbestos training annually, through an
    ARCA operated programme of continuous personal
    development.

    This ensures they  have the  required  skills  and
    competency levels to carry out asbestos work safely
    and that they fully understand current regulations.



    New employees
    receive the Company
    Induction Process
    and the required
    asbestos training is
    then established in
    relation to their job
    descriptions, roles and
    responsibilities.





                                Refresher training for
                                existing staff improves
                                knowledge and skills
                                for ongoing safe work
                                as per the ‘Control of
                                Asbestos Regulations
                                2012’ and the Health
                                & Safety Executive
                                guidance.



    Competence is
    developed over time
    by implementing
    and consolidating
    skills acquired during
    asbestos training,
    on the job learning,
    instruction and
    assessment.
