We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Lifting Hire & Sale Representative to join our expanding team. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will play a key role in promoting, selling, and hiring our specialist lifting equipment and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive Sales Engagement: Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and promote suitable products and hire services.
- Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new lines of business from within your territory.
- Needs Assessment: Use strong questioning skills to uncover customer requirements and provide tailored solutions for both hire and sale.
- Product & Fleet Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products and hire fleet, including features, pricing, and availability.
- Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the sales and hire process, ensuring a smooth and satisfying experience.
- Relationship Building: Develop lasting relationships to encourage repeat business and strengthen customer loyalty.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed individual and team targets.
- Cross-Selling/Up-Selling: Recognise opportunities to offer complementary products or services.
- Policy Compliance: Adhere to all company sales, hire, and service procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in the hire or lifting industry is highly desirable
- A LEEA qualification would be an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently and hit targets
- Solid understanding of customer needs and solution selling
- A full UK driving licence
