Diamond Wire Sawing

Tricky Concrete Structure To Remove? We Have The Solution For You…

The Diamond Wire sawing process or rope saw, provides a unique and cost effective solution of dealing with large and otherwise very difficult concrete structures.  The diamond wire is passed around the structure and working through a set of hydraulically tensioned pulleys, the wire saw is gradually drawn through the object.

A wire saw, or rope saw is an ideal tool for cutting through large sections of reinforced concrete such as bridge sections, jetties, columns or beams and is particularly useful when extremely thick or awkward shapes need isolating. The procedure can be successfully used under water when needs dictate.

It was this method of sawing that we used to remove 60 ton sections of the spine columns, at the company’s Welsh National Stadium demolition project in Cardiff.

As a leading London diamond wire sawing and rope sawing company we can also accommodate all types of concrete cutting from core cutting, core drilling, diamond drilling and track sawing to stitch drilling, concrete core drilling, and concrete coring.
