Sustainability

Definitions: “ Meeting the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of the future generations to meet their needs"

Efficient Use of Resources and Energy...

The John F Hunt Group is committed to the concept of meeting the demands of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.

Our goal is the efficient use of resources and energy today without plundering future primary resources for others, which we achieve by recycling and waste minimisation through maximum secondary material use. This lessens the demand on primary resources so producing an increase in efficiency and improving project costs.

Seeking Innovative Sustainable Solutions...

Innovation is essential for the development of our business and for creating maintainable solutions, our aim being to encourage resolutions that balance economic, environmental and social issues. If we can achieve this we are creating added value for our clients, employees, subcontractors and the community in which we work.

The businesses cannot operate without employees and we enjoy the fact that many of our staff remain with John F Hunt long term, feeling a valued member of its team, contributing to its progress and continuing success.

By monitoring our Corporate Social Responsibility commitments, the results will be reviewed, from which improvements will be determined and continuous improvements made.
