Michael joined John F Hunt in July 2011 as Divisional Manager, bringing with him 28 years experience in Concrete Cutting and Building works. In 2015 he was promoted to the Director of John F Hunt Concrete Cutting and has overall responsibility for all diamond drilling and sawing projects, ensuring each job is carried out in a safe manner and to the Client’s satisfaction.
His training and qualitications include CSCS Site Manager, Site Management Safety Training for health and safety compliance, First Aid, ARCA Licensed Contractor Management, IOSH Directing Safely and Network Rail PTS Card.
Michael has extensive knowledge of the industry and has overeen countless projects from surveying through to completion, preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements. He is an excellent commuincator, liaising with site management and supervising staff both in the depot and out on site.
He has worked on many projects throughout the country, from Crossrail, Dashwood House, Bedford Chambers and Bevis Marks to Top Shop, Brixton Prison, Connaught Tunnel, Vaxhaull Station, Fenchurch Avenue and Cannon Street. Working closely with the John F Hunt Demolition and John F Hunt Environmental teams, Michael has expanded the Concrete Cutting Division to include new and innovative techniques, to the benefit of all.
